Found black/white cat in Milford, Delaware View Web Page - Found a small (maybe a kitten) black and white cat in the median area in front of Milford Nursing Home on Rt. 113. I'm not sure if this cat is a boy or a girl. The cat is very dirty and has an upper respiratory infection. Seems to be very bony too. It looks like the cat has been out on his/her own for a little while. The cat is not a feral (wild) cat. He/she is a total lovebug and started purring immediately when I got him/her off the side of the road (probably very happy to be out of the cold). I would have loved to have kept the cat, but we have three cats at home that don't get along and this poor thing had a URI, which is very contagious to other cats until treated with an antibiotic. The cat was taken to the Dover SPCA since the one in Georgetown wasn't open. They will hold the cat for five days. Please get him/her if this is your cat. I feel so sorry for the poor thing :(
