Found a Nano in ORD Checkpoint

My husband found a nano in one of the checkpoints in O'hare Airport...It was sitting in a grey-tray before my husband's belongings....believed the owner was forgot to pick it up and gone.
I will contact Apple Support to see if I can get the owner's address or contact number with the serial #...If you have lost yours, please name the date & time it was lost, also the color, the model to some specific songs in it.
