- We lost our beautiful bird 7/22/10 right up above Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, Washington. She is bright orange and yellow with green and blue on both wings and tail. If she is hungry enough she hopefully will come to someone. I can't imagine how scared she is, it makes me sick. Please just give her some water, maybe apple, cover her lightly and contact us at (425)778-5913 or (425)754-6496. Thank you so much for any help. I have been continuing to put up flyers after 4 days, she's in the paper, online....I don't know what to do. -

- Our Australian Shepherd ran out of the house around midnight on the 4th of July (2010) His name is Maverick. He is Gray and White with some tan. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. His tail has not been bobbed/docked. We rescued Maverick when he was three years old, he is now nine. While he is very sweet and quite smart, he is VERY TIMID around people and will probably not come when called. Though if he is quite hungry, he may come close if you drop a dog biscuit on the ground. Please call us IMMEDIATELY if you see him so we will at least know what area he is in. He disappeared from 54th St., NW, about 3/4 mile from the Gig Harbor Golf Club off of Artondale. Though he is very timid, he does NOT BITE. PLEASE help us bring Maverick home. -

Lost Italian Greyhound Dog in Seattle, Washington

- An Italian Greyhound looks much like the racing greyhounds but much smaller. They have the same thin look - ribs showing, slim tail that often tucks under the tummy.
Rio went missing on 11/17/2009 - jumping his foster home's fence at 1am during a windstorm. He hasn't been sighted since. He could easily have been picked up that night & taken away from Seattle and could be anywhere. He is a skittish boy & is likely to get loose again. He is:
* 8-10 lbs
* Male, neutered
* Mostly White with charcoal/black spots
* Very thin - He was just taken by in from the Humane Society by a non-profit rescue & was recovering from an illness (Giardia). Days before jumping the fence he had surgery and still had a drain to help an abscess.
Here is a flyer - if you read this & would be kind enough to print it out and give it to your vet or a local pet store - know it would be greatly appreciated. Any help... please... we're desperate to find him.
